The spicy, liquorice and sesame sweetness is revealed in this extremely rare chocolate, made according to ancient Arhuaco tribal traditions, designed to maintain the natural harmony of the world.
Cacao and conservation work
The first and only cacao to come out of the Sierra Nevada National Park, Arhuaco "Bunsinchari" means a "new beginning" of an ancient cocoa crop that was disrupted 100 years ago when Colombian settlers cut down its trees in the mistaken belief that its rare white beans were diseased. Marked by a deep commitment to protecting their world, the life force of the Arhuaco culture springs from the turquoise waters of its ancestral shores, where green sea turtles bury their eggs. Every sale of this exclusive chocolate helps save this ancestral culture and the endangered animals it protects.
